The full investigation of the case is still under the way. While others believe the owners might be scammers. Some speculate that this is just a PR stunt to rebrand the company. There are many theories on what happened to Timepiece. The last video was posted on June 25, 2021. Nevertheless, the YouTube channel is still running. The whole existence of Timepiece Gentleman has vanished like a Thanos snap. Today, only the faint lettering of the shop in the glass door is visible from outside. I started my business in the halfway house with 1,300 and took it to over 35 million in sales in 2021. We were the first to take our cameras behind closed doors and set the stage for others to follow. We are a luxury watch retailer that is changing the way this industry operates. The shop was located across from the famous Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas, Texas. Im the Founder/Creator/Owner of The Timepiece Gentleman. Timepiece Gentleman store is also shut down. Furthermore, the other members like Mike Rudin and Dylan Robinson are also absent. In fact, no one knows the whereabouts of Nicolini and Farrer yet. Both of their social media accounts are deactivated. However, even the owners have disappeared now. Together they claimed that Timepiece Gentlemen was $10 Million. Likewise, Marco later joined in 2018, who was reportedly a young Dallas-based vintage Rolex dealer. Apparently, he is an ex-convict and felon. There would be no reports if Marco Nicolini and Anthony Farrer were arrested.Īnthony was the first to open the company in 2017. Were Marco Nicolini And Anthony Farrer Arrested? However, the not-so gentlemen owners, Marco Nicolini and Anthony Farrer, have now vanished with millions in the bank. They had alleged that only 1,000 lucky followers willing to pay the money would get watches at wholesale prices. Using social media power, the owners even crowdfunded $2,000 from their followers. Timepiece Gentleman sparks social media confusion after online presence goes dark From flashy to expensive watches, it ruled the watch market while based in Dallas. Over time, the Timepiece became a social media sensation – everywhere from Instagram to Youtube. The company alleged to “procure the most sought out and make high-end watches.” Timepiece Gentleman was launched around the end of November 2017. It seems like Timepiece Gentleman has vanished! The company which claimed millions of dollars in fortune is nowhere to be found now. It has actually happened with Timepiece Gentleman. Imagine having 111k youtube subscribers and 40k Instagram followers and disappearing one day! This is not a movie plot. Were the owners Marco Nicolini and Anthony Farrer arrested? Find Out. Either way, it’s a stupid move, as they already have enough heat on them about misleading people about their fundraiser.now you’re going to tell these people who sent you 2k that you’re moving to the Bahamas to “sell 5 watches a week”? Not exactly good damage control IMOP.Timepiece Gentleman has vanished. I personally think that little tantrum at the end of last week’s episode was just a ratings ploy. They're acting like they've got some sort of incredible unique business model, when it just boils down to "jack up the price, and hope somebody pays it."Įxactly! Anthony talks about being a 1 billion dollar company like he’s the next Zuckerberg or Bezos. Same business model as being a ticket scalper, which makes the arrogance of TPG is a bit much to take sometimes. Someone manages to get a watch for retail, then every middleman who handles it slaps another $1k onto the price of the watch until it's presented to the end user. But you can't have a retail mega store without inventory.įinally, the whole grey world is just kind of gross. The high market prices disincentivize keeping inventory on hand, lest they be stuck with a bunch of stuff they overpaid for if prices fall. Their answer to anyone wanting any watch is "I can get it for you", and then they try to hustle it up on the FB groups, which is a very different thing than maintaining inventory. I don't have a lot of faith that they'll ever open their retail store, and if they do, I think inventory is going to be a problem. It feels like TPG are essentially backpack dealers operating out of a 300 square foot backpack. I've enjoyed watching Grey Market, and appreciate that Roman and the gang are running a real company. I get that's how they make their money, but I routinely see the same exact watches they're selling for sale at lower prices here in Canada, and the Canadian Dollar is 0.81 cents on the US dollar. It’s just their inventory page, so not sure if it will post anything besides just watches going forward. For what it’s worth, their GentlemanTimepieces handle is still up. including the store designer guy that I think has a bigger ego than Anthony. From watching the show, my observation is that Timepiece Gentlemen's watch prices are through the roof, and their buy prices are always rock bottom. There are lot of sketchy characters on that show.
